Ep. 44 Born This Way Blog and Eric Himan

So it’s finally official. We are changing the name of the podcast from Gay Street Beat to Gay Sunday Brunch. If you are checking us out on the Gay Street Beat website, be sure to visit our new home at Gay Sunday Brunch. It’s a smart and sexy site we know you’ll love!

This week the guys are back from break, rested and ready for fun. Of course, they start things off with a recap of RuPaul’s Drag Race and Matt delivers all the top Big Gay News.

Then Jim speaks with Paul V., the creator of the Born This Way Blog. If you haven’t seen it, BTWB is a collection of childhood pictures from LGBT Americans. At times touching, at times comical, the blog is a truthful look at the fact that we are born this way - just as innocent and natural as children who grow up to be straight.

After the interview, Jim and Matt bring you their popular, Grindr Guy of the Week. They have a lot of fun with this one, so we know you will too.

Finally, the show closes with Eric Himan singing his beautiful song, Kinda Hard. (We neglected to give the name of the song in the show.) Eric is the first of what will be a regular feature to highlight LGBT singers, songwriters and storytellers. If you would like to be featured on Gay Sunday Brunch, please email us at info@gaysundaybrunch.com. Include an mp3 of the song you’d like us to play as well as a SHORT bio. You could be our next breakout star!
