Ep. 36 Michelangelo Signorile

There is no question there has been a lot of news lately. With the tragic events in Tucson to the recent repeal of Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell, our collective focus on current events seems more pronounced than ever.

We could think of no better guest than longtime activist, journalist and radio talk show host, Michelangelo Signorile to join us and help make sense of some of LGBT America’s top stories.

Jim starts out the conversation talking about the recent release of Sarah Palin’s video defending herself against accusations that she contributed to the hostile rhetoric that may have inspired the violence in Arizona.

From there the conversation turns to DADT, marriage equality and the importance of transgender inclusion.

Don’t miss what Michelangelo would say to himself 30 years ago if he could travel back in time!

Be sure to follow Michelangelo on Twitter and become a fan on Facebook.
